The roadmap for roadmaps

Feature request board

Feature

We're building a public page and embed to allow for displaying feature requests publicly. You'll have the option to allow users to vote for a feature and display the ranking of requests.

This feature will also include an embeddable self-serve feature request form for your application.

Intercom integration

Feature
Add Next Please to your Intercom messenger and allow customers to add feature requests without sending a message. We'll also be adding tooling to send your customers status updates on those requests and others they follow.

Improved UI on public pages

Improvement

We're working to improve the overall look of our public pages. This will include a bunch of small UX improvements and new options like displaying roadmap stages, custom CSS, and a board view for roadmaps.

Better autosuggestions

Improvement

Duplicate requests can be really painful to manage with your Next Please account. We're working to improve the way our autosuggest works from the search algorithm to the UI itself. We're hoping this will cut down on the amount of duplicates that are made up front.

Paginate changelog

Improvement

Adding pagination to the public changelog to make page speeds faster when there's a lot of media heavy history.

Improved UX for public content

Improvement

We're going to make how you set public content a whole lot easier!

Timeline roadmap

Feature
Put dates to your roadmap by creating a timeline. Create sections for teams, employees, or anything to overlap requests and get an idea of when work will be done.

In-app notifications

Feature
Update your customers when you ship a new feature right inside your app! We've got an initial v0.1 built and are working to get it released for you to use. Email us if you're interested in joining the beta!

Github integration

Feature
With this integration you will be able to attach Github issues to requests and automatically move requests to the changelog when an attached issue is closed.

Connect Slack after creating an account

Improvement

Currently you can't use the Slack OAuth / Team log in feature unless you signed up with Slack (or write in a support ticket). We're going to add the option to connect with Slack after creating an account.

Notification settings

Improvement
We're working to allow you to control what kind of notifications you receive from your account. Those options will include: - When a request I created is commented on - When a request I created is moved to the roadmap - When a request I created is shipped - When a comment of mine is replied to - When I am mentioned in a comment or request
